Take your instructor level further with our Specialty Instructor program in Koh Tao.
Develop the skills and confidence to plan, organize, and teach a range of specialty diving courses within the SSI system.
Through structured guidance and practical teaching experience, you’ll refine your instructional approach, improve time management, and strengthen your professionalism in the water and in the classroom.
Expanding your teaching range not only builds your confidence as an instructor, but also increases your value and opportunities within the dive industry.
How the program works?
We offer training and seminars for a range of Specialty Instructor programs.

The program runs between 2 to 5 days, depending on the selected specialties and dive requirements.
You will complete academic presentations, in-water training, and work with Instructor and student materials to refine your teaching approach.

Specialty Packs
5 Specialty Pack — 24,000 THB
Includes: Deep Diving, Navigation, Night & Limited Visibility, React Right, and Wreck diving.
(Upgrade or replace with an advanced specialty for an additional 4,000 THB)

Advanced Specialties
These specialties are part of the SSI Dedicated Equipment and Overhead Environment categories. Student-level certification and additional prerequisites are required before upgrading to instructor level. (See each program below for details)
