Assistant Instructor Trainer — Develop Your Leadership Role
Take the next step in your professional path with our Assistant Instructor Trainer program in Koh Tao.
Develop the skills and confidence to mentor and support the development of future dive professionals, assisting in the progression of Assistant Instructors within the SSI system.
Through structured guidance and real teaching experience, you’ll refine your leadership, improve your evaluation skills, and strengthen your professionalism both in and out of the water.
This progression enhances your role within a dive center, increases your value as a professional, and opens further opportunities within the dive industry.
Throughout the program, you’ll work alongside senior SSI Instructor Trainers, gaining insight into the structure and delivery of professional-level courses while assisting in real Instructor Training Courses (ITCs).
You will focus on evaluating instructor candidates, guiding their classroom and in-water presentations, and supporting their development through constructive feedback and mentorship.
